Aspose.Email for .NET is a set of components allowing developers to easily implement email functionality within their ASP.NET Web applications, Web services, and Windows applications. It supports the Outlook PST, EML, MSG, and MHT formats. It allows developers to work with SMTP, POP, FTP, and MS Exchange servers. It supports mail merge, iCalendar, customized header and body, header information, embedded files, Twitter, and much more. It makes it easy to work with HTML or plain text email messages and their attachments.

Release Notes: This release supports adding MapiContact, MapiNote, MapiTask, MapiJournal, and MapiCalendar to PST. It also fixes some important issues related to email conversion to MHTML, saving an image from a VCard, processing ICS files, creating PSTs with a large number of email messages, saving attachments from messages using streams, and some exceptions. German special characters are now handled properly while converting MSG to MHTML format.


Release Notes: It is now possible to filter messages using the MessageID of an email from an Exchange server. For this purpose, the MailQueryBuilder class has been equipped with a MessageID filter that can be used in combination with other filters. Bugs related to how Aspose.Email manages PSTs were fixed along with issues with EML to MSG conversion, handling of an email’s TextBody, and retrieving the real mail recipients from a message on an Exchange Server.


Release Notes: It is now possible to save messages from PST to Memory stream directly by enumerating MessageInfo or message Entry IDs. Folder permissions can now be retrieved from Exchange Server. PST-to-PST and PST-to-OST message copying operations were improved. Various issues related to EML-to-MHTML and MSG-to-EML conversions were fixed.


Release Notes: This release includes new features, enhancements to existing features, and resolutions for reported issues, such as support for Exchange impersonation, retrieving a specific number of messages from a PST, checking a PST for password protection, generating occurrences from recurrence patterns, and auto-setting the dimensions of a TIFF image. This release also includes some important bugfixes like loading embedded MSG attachments using MailMessage, problems with messages bodies being returned as null, attachment file name corruption, failure to detect attachments, and much more.

One of the new features is the ability to add contacts to an Exchange Server. Logging the activity of Aspose.Email’s SMTP client for tracing purposes is now supported. The follow-up flag and due date can now be set for messages. A number of issues were fixed, and some features were enhanced. Email Property merging during PST extraction and a MapiCalendar.save failure were fixed.
